The 6th SALAS Regional Annual Conference will be held at the Furama Riverfront Hotel. The program will cover a diverse range of topics such as Animal Models of Disease, Facility Management, Animal Health, Scientific Techniques used in Animal Studies and other Scientific Presentations.

The conference will also feature an industry-related Trade Show in an adjacent Exhibition Hall, providing participants with a one-stop opportunity to discuss the latest trends and innovations in research animal equipment, accessories and training.

The following is the confirmed program for the conference. There is a Special Lecture by Prof.Vera Baumans on Day 1.

Past Conference Archives

“Early Bird”fee for members:  
Members can attend Day 1 and/or Day 2. The special rate for members applies up till 5 Nov 2010

To qualify, SALAS members must have paid their 2010 membership fee by 5th Nov 2010. Failure to do so, will mean that registration will be treated as for non-members and any membership fees paid will be credited to your 2011 SALAS membership.

Registration at the conference venue:
A 10% surcharge will be added to registration fees collected at the Conference venue.

Conference Dinner, Thursday 2 nd December.
There is no charge for dinner for conference delegates attending one or both days. A deposit of $20 is required for administrative purposes. An equivalent amount in the form of vouchers will be given to dinner attendees as door gifts.

However, the deposit will not be refundable for those who sign up but do not attend.

Registration for Students who are SALAS members!
Only students who are SALAS members are eligible.

The first 30 students who register need only pay a special rate of $20 for each day. A copy of your student identification is to be submitted with your registration form and payment. Student registrations accepted till 4th November 2010 or when the quota is filled.

Student registration includes tea and lunch but not dinner.
